Sorry this is late. Medical problems this month to deal with. This was a trial painting with alcohol inks. I have never done this before. It was difficult but so much fun to do. I rather like the bright colors and the different look of it. Almost an abstract painting
It is made of 300 grams of Italian cold-pressed watercolor paper. The picture was made with several phases / 4 / paintings. Paints used: cadmium light yellow, wet green, cadmium light green, ocher yellow, dark purple, magenta, black.

The snail and the flower became a message to me, to slow down and to move at a snail’s pace so you have time to stop and smell the flowers. Done with Alcohol Inks on the back of photo paper in a tiny miniature size, 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

Definitely not the best painting I have ever done! I have been painting with water colors for a while and tried to use acrylic in a similar fashion but on this old canvas, it just didn’t work out. I have put it down to “experimentation”!
